Thanks to different blade depths, the Thunderbolt tail rotor blades react particularly directly to steering commands. This allows higher turning rates and faster manoeuvres with better control at the tail.

The new feature the angled tip of the Thunderbolt tail rotor blades, produce a much quieter running noise and are more efficient. Furthermore, a much more precise steering feel is provided.
